16/07/2012· Hp filter? Maybe.. If I have bass that low. Say the bass is knocking at 58hz and the kick is bumpin at 110hz. Then the kick will get a smooth filter to make room for that bass. If your drums sound bright a hp filter will not fix that though. Might want to try a low pass filter, and maybe cuts some of the mids for other instruments to live in.
